In addition to use as a local computer, PKUnity Secure Mini Workstation supports RDP to support the connection to Windows Server2003/2008, Windows XP/Vista/7. PKUnity Multimedia Classroom achieve broadcast teaching, electronic pointer, remote control guide, screen monitor, black silence and other traditional functions, provides real time video playing supported a variety of media formats (MP3, MPEG1, MPEG2, etc.), builds a good, interactive teaching and learning environment and can significantly increases student’s interest in learning.
Electronic reading room achieves the online reading environment. Users log onto the server via a PKUnity Secure Mini Workstation to share a large number of electronic books on the server, and also can surf on the Internet to get more online information.
Teachers use SMW to control the projector to show course notes to students.Students read the course notes, complete the experiment, and browse the Internet by SMW.Realize interactive teaching via multimedia teaching software on SMW, such as teacher screen broadcasting, student screen monitoring, voice guide and so on.

SMW server and courseware server are deployed in the server center, and they can use the same server or two more servers according to the actual demanding.SMW is deployed in every seat in the classroom. Teachers control the projection equipment to teach the course through the SMW. Every SMW can connect to the server to read course notes and complete the experimental courses.Other infrastructure system is also running in the network environment such as firewalls, switches and so on.
Both teacher computer and server are equipped with double Gigabit Ethernet adapter to avoid network congestion. One adapter is connected to the campus network and the other is connected to the PKUnity SMWs, to make the concurrent operating smoothly. This is the topology of the network.
